The Board meets the fourth Monday of each month at 6 pm at the Discovery Science Place, 308 North Broadway. Meetings are open to all members.

Board members are elected for two-year terms, unless filling an unfinished term. Appointed directors serve one-year terms.

Their work is entirely volunteer, and they implement all programs and services of the League, as well as make policy decisions.

• Speak before an  organization
• Coordinate voter registration schedule
• Manage a fundraising campaign
• Answer the LWV phone messages
• Make hospitality arrangements for each event.
• Chair the Budget Committee
• Help to Engage Young Voters
• Present a program on Payday & Auto Title Loans in Texas
• Plan a program on Money in Politics
